Nimes cathedral and ride to aigues-mortes

concourse area

view over the railing

Inside - arena is still used today for bull fighting

outfits of the gladiators

gladiator weapons - this was Mark's favorite part

I'm in the highest row where the slaves used to sit. Great view of the city from here.

riding through olive trees and vinyards on the way to aigues-mortes

horses on the other side of the canal

Many of the roads were dirt but it was fine on our bikes with front and rear shock absorbers

no one on the road except dragon flies and birds. There were a few boats going down the canal.
We are riding on the towpath. The path that they used to pull the barges up the river.
