un jour à Paris!

We made it to Paris and found the place we are staying at. It is a spacious apartment with a small kitchen, bathroom, and even a clothes washer. The heat is by steam radiators.
We got out and took a walk around. Hey the Bon Marche! Almost like home...

This is the building where our apartment is. It seems very old.

This is the entrance door. We have to go through two doors and type in special codes. And then we have a key to our place. We did not rent a car because the subways are pretty good here. :)

We jumped on a subway and started checking things out. This is one of those billboards that changes very few seconds. And in the rotation is an ad for a TV show about Barak Obama (I think). So all over we are seeing Barak "pop up".

This is Notre Dame but my camera doesn't capture night images very well. There were lots of people about!

We went to the open air market and bought a bunch of food. Figs, eggs, pasteries, milk in a bottle, really yummy yogurt, carrots, greens, banana bread, etc. I had to ask for it all in French!

This is a rooster in our apartment. Je ne sais pas.
