Morning of wedding

Today is the morning of the wedding.

Yesterday we got in around 11 but couldn't check in to the hotel until 3:30. Mark was so tired he fell asleep on the rocky beach. I watched the locals fishing. It seems like several people would catch a fish at the same time. I saw big starfish on the beach and in the water.

We woke up in Hommer really tired. Last night we went out to halibut cove and had a bbq on the beach. To get there we took a 45 minute boat ride across the water. The island is amazingly beautiful. It's like you have gone to a fairytale world. There are board walks all around the island to lift you above the water. You can see down into the clear water. There are houses built on stilts connected with docks and landings where kayaks and little boats are parked. The island is 1 mile long by 1/2 mile wide so it is very small.

We saw a rocky island with thousands of gulls on the way back. It was very surreal.
